Introduction

Modern concepts of Process Safety Management and process hazard analysis   adopt the risk-based approach to selecting the most appropriate design measures in order to reduce risks to a level that is as low as acceptable, reasonably and practicable.

The HAZOP study is the major method of process hazard analysis to identify the potential hazard related the unit and equipment operation as well as the hazardous material by HAZOP study the risk could be mitigated and could be accepted.

This course is based on Process Safety Management by DuPont Safety Resources as they more than 40 years have been dedicated to helping companies around the world develop safety programs and practices that work.
